This week marks the official start of Fall! Mice are extremely sensitive to temperature changes and the moment the weather starts to turn we can sense it. That means my friends and I will be busy stocking up on food for the winter.

It can be hard to find the things we like to eat once the weather turns cold; and mice can eat up to 15-20 times a day! Luckily, I’m not too picky when it comes to food. Mice are omnivorous, which means we like to eat fruits, seeds and grains, but will also eat meat.

We’ll also start looking for warmer places to call home. Much like you, we like to hang out indoors during chillier weather. Some of our favorite hideaways in the fall and wintertime are attics, basements and garages.

I know one home I’ll be staying far away from this Fall, and I can tell you all about it in my newest adventure, Martin the Mouse in a Haunted House.

Come along with me as I encounter monsters, ghosts and the occasional vampire bat!
